What time does the festival start?
Gates open for Salisbury Comedy Festival at 3pm. The last performance will finish at 10pm.
Are there any age restrictions?
We welcome anyone over the age of 12. Please be aware that there will be explicit content after 6pm. Any person under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Only ticket holders over the age of 18 are permitted to order at the bar.
What security will be in place?
The safety of ticket holders is our top priority. For the safety of guests, a 100% search will be in operation. Be sure to read the COVID & Safety page to check what you can and can't bring into the Festival Arena.
We have two entry points to the Festival Arena to ensure quick and smooth entry/egress.
Can we bring chairs or a blanket?
Absolutely! We encourage all ticket holders to bring a blanket or chair. This is part of the festival experience!
What food/drink will be available?
A range of local suppliers will serving up fresh, seasonal and locally sourced food throughout the afternoon and evening. Rest assured there will be something for everyone!
We have teamed up with local suppliers to bring you a variety of drink options. Grab an ice cold pint, cocktail, glass of wine or even a Jagerbomb from one of our in-house bars.

What steps are you taking to ensure you are COVID secure?
Salisbury Comedy Festival will operate in line with COVID guidelines in place at the time of the event. The Government Roadmap suggests that social distancing restrictions will be lifted in full from 21st June. However, should social distancing rules remain in place, we will increase the size of the arena to ensure that that social distancing can be achieved without impacting on the enjoyment of the event.
Should the event be cancelled for any reason outside of our control, your tickets will automatically be carried forward to a rescheduled date.
What else is happening?
As well as 6 hours of back to back comedy, we have partnered with Edward Stokes Funfair to bring you the first adult only funfair and inflateable park. Jonathan the Jester will also be entertaining you throughout the afternoon.

I have a disability. What support can you provide?
We're proud partners with Access Card. We will do our best to accommodate all Access Card Symbols. We offer complimentary Plus One tickets, accessible parking, accessible toilets, and level access througout the Festival Arena. Please get in touch if you have any specific requirement and we will do our best to acccomodate.
I'm interested in becoming a vendor
We're keen to support local businesses whereever possible. We're particularly looking for catering vendors to feed our nation of festival-goers.
What happens if I have bought a ticket now the event has been postponed?
Not to worry, all tickets will be automatically transferred to our new date Sunday 31 July 2022. Our ticket provider Skiddle will be in touch shortly to explain the options available to you. So please keep an eye on your inbox!
To apologise, we will be offering all ticket holders exclusive discounts on our other planned events in Salisbury, Bournemouth and Southampton over the autumn and winter.
